It's also interesting that Strawhats have some characters who have demonic powers, Robin, Zoro, Sanji, Brook, Chopper(used to be) except Luffy and the others. I would bet Luffy would either turns into giant angel or devil to fight ImuGunko.

In my opinion, since One Piece has a lot of Bible elements in it, this is the reason the reaper appeared to Zoro after he claimed to be the king of whatever:

Loki feels like he should fight Imu imo. (Basically like what Wyper did with Enel) and honestly the new pirate warrior pirates just are too weak. Maybe Hajrudin and one of them can beat demon Oimo and Kashii but Dory and Brogy? I just can’t see someone as weak as Hajrudin doing it.

Hajrudin will get some powercreep love, dw.
Also, not even sure if zoro/sanji even get full out fights. It's definitely possible they just clash with the HKs, dont get to deal with them because immortality, but something happens that make them retreat.

There's still a lot going on this arc for this to be the climax, imo.

Imu's abilities feel like they are the antithesis to Nika's imagination ability. Instead of comic visuals, we get realism, and instead of him pulling it out of his literal imagination, Imu summons it via ban circles.
That shotgun and those ban circle cannons give me major Nika vibes, it's all just demon/devil themed, with pentagrams, fire and shit.
Some abilities like the immortality, the regeneration and Imu being able to possess Gunko seem too op or otherworldly, but then there's sugar, it's pretty much the same system.
All those gimmicks can be part of a special contract:
more abilities and powers = more sacrifices/more conditions

Eternal youth surgery + satan devil fruit still makes sense imo. I'm not buying into it being a supernatural being and magic yet.
