This has been bugging me since oda revealed kuma flashback tbh. anyone else who want to go more into this/add on feel free. i'll just mention what noticed.

=luffy
timeline matches, and dragon was not shown with love interest in the timeline. only ginny and kuma where shown to have romantic interest in each other. for luffy to be conceived around this timeline.
plus the resemblance luffy has more to kuma is spot on beside looks. As both are super strong/selfless and kind, and take no bs in hitting a celestial dragon and defending the weak.
luffy even says he does not see it when he sees the image of dragon, and i agree.
Also when garp mention luffy father, garp had darken expression over his eyes, which is que hints that the character is not revealing the full truth. As oda has shown darkline over eyes of past character when something is not good. meaning dragon took the role father...and there some hidden lie.
but the question remains if this is true. was it dragon who told ginny to hide the truth, knowing kuma bloodline/world government would make his friend child a target/slave if discovered. and also the missing big clue, who was related to garp??? because garp is luffy grandfather/realeted.
So it either have to be ginny is garp daughter, or clapp was garp son(update below) As noticed both clapp and garp have similar build to half blood giants, and explains garp hatred for the celestial dragons. because his family was taken by them to be slave, and to find out later they where killed as possibility.
I think at some point she convinced kuma with quality time, then hid the baby after luffy was born, after dragon advice to her.(ginny saying she on mission but prob back on luffy hometown where she gave birth to luffy) I think she was gonna surprise kuma when they won the war against the celestial dragons. plus marriage, because she had his kid! meaning he will be hers fully.. not in manipulative way. but ginny trying to get rid of kuma fears. Also ginny has to have connections with garp. i noticed luffy hints that his grandfather trained him since he was young, in isolated area from prying eyes..so garp is making sure his grandson out of sight/unnoticed from the world government..

Kuma i am sure realize...but will agree with dragon being the father... because he knows if he confirms it...this kid will have bigger target on his back. also i feel kuma has some silent rage at dragon..... also conflicted that ginny never told him and upset.
in marine ford, he behaved similar to not attacking luffy, as he reacted to bonney when he went to save her, As he appeared infront of luffy only to teleport away, like kuma avoiding his worst fear even when his mind was broken/but not wanting to hurt them as his soul avoid luffy like guilt, prob because of his race special ability yet not explained. as confirmed by vega punk later.
I think kuma knew, and watch his son grow up/be there for him. when he found out about luffy. because he shown to care about luffy just like bonney as a father.
Even bragging abut luffy. and later wanted to hold his son when picked up luffy after the fight, but zoro got in the way of quality time. if zoro didn't show up. it looks like kuma would absorbed luffy pain.
There was no reason for kuma to say this to luffy, unless kuma saw luffy as his own son, he could not admit to having. Because of his past.
The farewell message to luffy was to personal.
Sapphire clue
Also next clue, when luffy got poisoned in impel down, he started having weird marks on his skin........I know the poison..but bonney did inherited the sapphire disease from her mother. and ivankov put luffy in pitch dark room/chained up. The question though, ginny was not exposed to sapphire when luffy was born..unless it from her bloodline, why saturn experimented on her..because her people can develop it!? even saturn was surprised when he said it got passed down to the child...meaning ginny already had it dormant!?? or was saturn her master since she was a child, they both where in god vally. could be he took ginny back years later.

The parallels are there with luffy and kuma, and luffy love for food and stubborn ness like ginny.
Yeah, i know this will piss off the dragon fan boys since oda has him as a statue when ever he appears. But after oda revealed kuma and timeline fits for kuma/ginny having luffy. i don't think is coincidence.
The real mystery is who was the one related to garp!??
Update: checking god vally, garp is said to be 40 years old, so i think clapp might been garp son since clapp looks to be in his early 20's with his wife when they had kuma, He was taken as a slave and murdered. This could also explain dragon having intel on what happen to garp real son and his family.
I think this will be my top suspect of the outcome not fully shown, if revealed kuma is indeed luffy real father.
though if wanna make it more troll..maybe clap after getting shot in the head.....was not dead.. but this is troll but i'll mention incase troll becomes reality, this part i see not happen. clapp is more likely garp son.
I know koby had transformation, but safer bet here is garp had a brother or a son as mention in the update above. Though it interesting garp/clapp had same side scar.. and oda mention the scar moves/vanishes and appear when garp is closer to his enemies. Garp also monster strength also points to some giant bloodline imo.
from story perspective and clues laid out, i think kuma is more likely luffy real father. then dragon who seems obsessed with protecting his friend ginny secret.
