Being real for a second Oden was a temporary member of the crew, I dont think he counted but its funny seeing the usual suspects malding over the "Number 4'' meme.

He had potential, if Oden was around and actually defeated Kaido there, he might end up right now even stronger.

He had VOAT too right?
Depends if VOAT end up as huge powerup and if Roger had it too, maybe Oden could awake it too during his 40-50...

For now I can understand why people place Gaban above him.

Yes he had VOAT, also when Oden met the RP he didnt know ACoC. We dont know exactly when he learned it.

The RP had their rep before he went on his final voyage to Raftel, thats when Oden joined. So I dont think we should really count him but thats just my two cents.

First, Nr. 3 > Nr. 4 and at this point, Lolden might even have to fight his place with Sunbell so you better hope Sunbell ends up as a fodder. Additionally, nothing of that sort was ever stated when the manga has repeatedly shown us that Kuzan wasn't even at 100% of his power and was still matching Garp's punching power. Furthermore, it must be new that getting stabbed in OP reduces your attack power, I guess Luffy's Bajrang Gun is stronger than we expect, lol. Secondly Garp ain't only beating Roger's Nr. 4 (or 5, depending on Sunbell), he's beating him without ACoC.

Luffy's VOAT feels way different from what Oden & Momo had
Oda may rework VOAT to be more powerup like Haki

He was there for an entire year and voyaged throughout the entire world with them. As we’ve seen with one piece, once someone joins a crew they’ve fully joined.

Jinbe is no longer treated like the sun pirates captain, despite being such for over ten years, he’s now just the helmsman of the straw hats.

When Ace joined Whitebeard he was immediately treated as a WBP and no longer a space pirate.

It doesn’t matter how little time he was there, even Sengoku calls him a Roger pirate and the Roger pirates all treated him like a shipmate as well. He was a Roger pirate through and through.
