I pondered it again and again. The Strawhats will go to New Marineford, after Elbaf. 100% certain. It can't be any other way. It is too early for Teach and Imu. Imu is still too strong, Blackbeard still too weak. Luffy needs a real fight again. A fight like the first Lucci fight, or that against Kaido. Only Akainu can give it to him right now. The navy probably doesn't share Imu's goals. If not now then never. Navy could become opposed to Maryjoa aswell.

There is no reason for SHs to go to New Marineford, at least at this point.
There is no replacement for Ace scheduled for execution to drag Luffy into it.
Blackbeard is still too weak, yes but Imu is not too strong.
The guy who can deal with regeneration is with the big guns in Elbaf and he will tell them how.
If anything, the events in Elbaf will open up a fast lane towards Mariejois.
Jarul will likely be killed and that will enrage Giants who will want revenge. MJ is also already on fire.
If Revolutionaries are on the move, WG war already started and Strawhats just need to fall into it.
