Why is he trying to do this with Law and Barto of all characters..
Ace worked because he was the son of Roger who's potential was too great from them to ignore. He was too dangerous and he was the closest to being PK if he stayed alive and grew in strength and popularity. Law and Barto have no interest in becoming PK iirc and likely dont have the raw potential Ace had.
If someone got captured for Marineford 2.0 it'd have to be someone like Sabo or Dragon
