Considering the parallel, that is a strong indication that Jinbe is going to be left behind by Sanji and Zoro if he hasn't already. Then there's the fact that he's being group with the weaker SHs and is being potrayed to be just as powerless as they are with Nami even calling him out for it.
To me it looks very much like setup for the M3 to parallel the revelation Oda made about Roger, Ray and Gaban being that much stronger than the rest of the crew especially if you consider that they are being separated from the rest of the crew and coming in for the rescue when shit has hit the fan and the others are defensless and being held captive - Massive Red Flags all round


Now the argument is probably going to be about bounties but the reality is that Jinbe's bounty only conveniently rose that high as a result of the Shichibukai's bounties getting unfrozen with each and every one of them getting massive bounties even in comparison to the Yonko Commanders. If that event didn't happen, considering he beat a Tobi Roppo like Franky and Robin, chances are that his bounty would be in the high 100bils.

Then there is the illusion of Jinbe comfortably beating a Tobi Roppo hence the tendency to put him significantly above them but I really do think he got an easier draw in comparison to the likes of Franky or Nami and Usopp with regards to the difficulty of the opponent he faced. Who's Who is prolly the strongest Tobi Roppo from a portrayal stand point and Jinbe is most likely in that commander range but make Who's Who a dino zoan and Jinbe doesn't beat him nearly as easily as he did imo. Regardless the result is the result.

Anyways I went off on a tangent a bit there but I think there are strong indications that Jinbe isn't going to be able to keep up with the M3.

Second he asks Robin what she is doing and she literally tells him that she can't just sit here and do nothing

Most the injuries were from hybrid who’s who treating Jinbe like Swiss cheese and slicing him with storm kick.

Again you think Jinbe let himself get injured for no reason. That’s so dumb

Not even gonna pretend to be a Jinbe fan, I'm indifferent/neutral on his character but Oda's not really basked him in glory with the way he's been written this arc. Not only is he getting his fat ass kicked by the M3 from a portrayal standpoint, he's also getting his ass beat by Robin and even Chopper and has even been put on blast already several times this arc for being completely useless in the current situation yet mandem will tell me Jinbe is playing 3D chess and thinking of a counter for the holy knights and Imu :milaugh:
Honestly M3 are the least of his worries, coz the likes of Robin are hot on his ass with regards to relevance/prominence in the crew.
Hell even chopper coming for his ass lol

Dude literally jumped off a cliff to hang onto the only hope they had of combating the Holy Knights where as even with Colon being taken hostage Jinbe didn't even attempt to move his fat ass :lawsigh:

Take it up with Oda. It was his idea to give Jimbei a way out of Finger Pistol Spots and not use it until he was done listening to Who's-Who, and I've already debunked Fish-Man rage mode, so you're going to have to come up with a new excuse.

It’s just fish man rage mode. It’s why oda had the fodder yell “he just snapped” get pissed off then get significantly stronger.

You think Jinbe is stupid enough to just let him get hurt for the sake of it?

I feel you doing the same thing people that prioritize the captain and their right hand men dynamic to shit on the captain and his wings

Like while Roger and Rayleigh, Kaido king, Whitebeard Marco, Luffy Zoro, etc are very relevant duo’s that doesn’t diminish Roger Rayleigh Gaban, Kaido king queen, Whitebeard Marco Jozu, Luffy Zoro Sanji, etc as trio’s

Jinbe like Jack doesn’t take away from the captain and his wings dynamic he just adds another one
