Yh Jinbe is defo gonna do a L or Light Yagami and come up with a 1000 IQ solution to the immortality problem he’s never encountered before and has no idea how it works sitting on his fat ass and thinking about it lol

As for your "but Robin did this, Robin did that," I make points like that when I'm trolling to show hypocrisy. The points you make against Jimbei, I could do the same against Gaban and it would be no different from your line of logic.
Why would Sanji fans in particular resent Jinbe though? I don't get it.
Feel like the bolded bit is a false equivalence. You say we resent Jinbe in the same way that Zoro fans resent Sanji, can you go into detail on the reason you think Zoro fans resent Sanji and how that somehow correlates to Sanji fans with regard to Jinbe?
Also personally I don't think the disagreement in this thread is about not acknowledging Jinbe for whatever reason, you are making the claim that the SHs have become a Captain/Trio dynamic post-wano and I and others are saying that we are not convinced that that is the case and we've given you several reasons as to why that is. You are also claiming that all crews have a captain/trio dynamic to force this dynamic when it clearly isn't the case. I'm actually curious about what the majority of the WG think on this so could you make a thread and poll to see how people view the SHs dynamics with regard to whether they think it has become a Captain/3 commander structure, Captain/Wings dynamic and so on?

You’re emphasizing Sanji’s dynamic with Luffy and Zoro as a part of his “wings” while at the same time downplaying his dynamic with Jinbe. Along with downplaying Jinbe’s role as Luffy’s “3yc”

- I’d even say Big mom’s crew kinda has it but I don’t want to get into that right now
- Blackbeard most likely does too tbh outside of Kuzan
- Depending on how highly you view cross guild they might too when Moria joins

Yeah, the Monster Trio is an important dynamic in the series and it never left, Oda even reiterated with the Pirate King and his Wings thing. Jimbei is great, but the idea of a new Monster Trio forming never held up since Oda never bothered to showcase that in the series (whether it be Yamato or Jimbei fans took it upon themselves to create that despite the Wings being introduced in Wano and now Gaban just reaffirms that). Bounty-wise, it's great for Jimbei, but in regards to facing Calamities, having important roles no one else can do arc to arc and being the most reliable members for Luffy, I don't see Oda distinguishing Jimbei from the rest of the crew to be honest. He's strong, has a large bounty, but it kinda ends there. Oda could try and highlight them as the top 3 Commanders more often, but there's only like 2 panels to go off so far. Franky in Egghead did pretty terrific, I don't think there's a Monster 5 or anything, Oda's not afraid to introduce new dynamics, but there are few on the level of the Monster Trio and I don't expect that to change.
I do hope Oda lets Jimbei take charge of the section of the crew he's with to make up for him being dealt with by Gunko and tied up, but the way Robin and Nami talked about him while Luffy, Zoro and Sanji were yet to arrive, I'm not sure.
