Kaido is Kaido, but dont shit on Loki, Loki is very young, he is like Zoro/Sanji equal in terms of age. Nonetheless Kaido was 21 years at GV and this was 6 years after joining Rocks Pirates (he was 15 when Rocks asked him to join).
You really need to appreciate Kaido and Shanks. 15 year old Kaido impressing Rocks to this degree and 14-15 year old Shanks copying Kamusari while other RPs couldnt.
Compared to them Luffy and Zoro are late boomers it seems.

Kaido will mature faster than young Loki. Giants seem to be slower in aging. Colon is just one year younger than as Zoro/Sanji, but he is still a kid.
Even if Loki had potential to surpass Rocks, if he can't do it in his lifetime, then it doesn't matter.

Kamasuri is a moveset , Haki you apply changes everything.

We have onigiri from East Blue, to KoH onigiri in wano.

Practically anyone can learn Onigiri with enough effort. Haki is main key role here.

Kaido was 15, same age as when Chopper joined the Straw Hats and only a couple a years off of adulthood.

Colon is only 1/2 Giant and he is still a child at 20 years old.

I can see why Rocks would take on a sub-adult Kaido but not want an overgrown toddler Loki.

I never said that, neither ACoC nor haki is a given, the whole point was to show Shanks talent which means as a swordsman he could copy Rogers technique at 15 years age.

An 80 year old Greenland shark is chronologically older than a 2 year old rabbit but that does not change the fact the rabbit is an adult and the shark is a juvenile due to lifespan difference.

Kaido was on the cusp of adulthood, Loki would remain a child for decades.

Rocks surely had a longer vision, and if Loki was better of a prospect, he would've taken him.

I seriously doubt Rocks was going to wait around until he was like 80 to see how Loki turned out.

In a high risk occupation like piracy, getting a meaningful return from an investment in 2-3 years is far more feasible than waiting 30-40 years.
