That's what we are being told initially, but with all the lies surrounding the murder of King Harald, there is a possibility that also could be a lie. Then we get the shadow of the thief of the Legendary DF, it doesn't resemble the horns that Loki has. I think there might be 2 DFs, Loki ate the one that was not stolen.

So I'm still pretty sure he's got that devil fruit somehow. Otherwise he'd just be a super big super strong dude who simply smashes stuff with his lightning hammer.

Pretty sure he has a strong DF, they even used seastone chains to lock him up.

Loki's told him time and again that he had to kill Harald, that he hates that he had to do it, that it was necessary for Elbaf, etc., yet Hajru-halfbrain-din is still throwing tantrums like an 8-year-old, going all, "No, you can't be trusted, you can't be freed, boohoo!" It's like Oda's allergic to writing characters who can stop for two seconds and think things through.

Loki's told him time and again that he had to kill Harald, that he hates that he had to do it, that it was necessary for Elbaf, etc., yet Hajru-halfbrain-din is still throwing tantrums like an 8-year-old, going all, "No, you can't be trusted, you can't be freed, boohoo!" It's like Oda's allergic to writing characters who can stop for two seconds and think things through.

The explanation can be that Loki has been bullying him since their childhood, that he was cast aside for Loki in the succession order, that Loki was a mad lad and not trustworthy for the longest time he was around in Elbaf, Loki likely did stupid things after the Harald incident and forced Shanks to capture him. Whole Elbaf is thinking Loki did this and for the last 6 years Loki likely didn’t say a word about it etc

and frankly if for us it’s like 2/3 months since Hajrudin and Loki talked but for them it’s been like 1h or 2h.

1 or 2h to change opinion on someone / accept to hear someone you have known for 60y is not that much

Sanji has come a long way, but the kind of abuse and trauma he suffered as a child can’t be resolved that easily.

I think the thing holding back Sanji now is fear.

I don’t think he’s past the fear of losing control.

That, or something along those lines.

I expect Gaban to have that kind of perception, be it PoL, CoO or natural wisdom.
