I am firm believer that Luffy inherited will of Joyboy and Blackbeard inherited will of Ancient kingdom evil king.

Joyboy - Roger - Luffy
Ancient kingdom evil king - Xebec - BB

It makes sense to me.

Luffy and BB are rivals
Xebec was Roger's strongest foe.

So, there has to be a rival to joyboy as well.

Then, Roger - Luffy and Joyboy became pirates to seek freedom

BB and Xebec seek King of the world.

So,. there has to be ancient figure 900 years ago who was actually the king of the world which explains why both Xebec and BB have this goal - to reclaim their rightful place which is now in the hands of IMU
BB inhereted the god of earth will

Nah Issho is the “good” marine, just like Garp and Sengoku. Blackbeard killing him is more impactful than killing the others
I mean sure but its isnt just impact on the story but story purpose
the point of the last arc was to humanize kizaru .

killing coby would serve greater impact but coby is the future of the navy so it isnt happening
likewise I believe similar is valid for issho

Brook got trapped in the Florian triangle 52 years ago. It’s possible Brook was at this reverie, but I feel like the rumbar pirates existed for more than 4 years
They could have already been formed before Brook joined and not like 4 years isn’t a decent amount of time to spend with a crew

Rocks killed an Admiral: Huge News, Made Rocks one of the most wanted man, probably had people join him after that.

Kaido and Big Mom both being defeated at the same time:
Idk if this was purely intentional or not but if unintentional then Oda completely dropped the ball with Kaidou and BM, he had Sabo doing cardio in the holy land overshadow both of them falling together.

Heck Greenbull didn't even give a rats ass and decided to follow up solo against the very people who pulled it off. The lvl of respect Luffy got is chump change compared to what Xebec got from his feat.

It's hard to argue all of that can be unintentional though, he just cares for the characters he cares for I guess. And he was done hyping Kaidou and BM at that time, moved on way too fast to favour Sabo. One of Oda's flaws but Kaidou and BM end up looking like inconsequential bums. He even had Kizaru comment on the feat like it was garbage lmao.

Was Yamato taken to the grave of Jigoro of the Wind, the Thriller Bark zombie who had Zoro's shadow? The Vivre Cards say he was from the West Blue. He killed 7,000 pirates to protect his family.
This chapter is subtly an upscale for Shiryu as well. If Jigoro of the Wind was raised in Wano's Ringo region, then why not Shiryu of the Rain too?

The Uzuki Family historically ruled over the Udon region, and the name "Uzuki" means "Rain Moon." Oda is revealing the origins of both Teach and Shiryu.

If the Blackbeard Pirates do invade Wano, this connection will be revealed then.
