Xebec(Roger's rival) defeated an admiral 56years ago when Roger was 21, so most likely pre-prime.

And Roger was his rival, who himself was equal to Whitebeard, known as the strongest in world even while old and sick

Starting to look more and more like there will be a gap between PK lvl characters and regular top tiers :jordanmf:
Roger > wb but yeah

You just don't kill an admiral. My Boy Xebec was the real deal.

That said I really feel like Xebec and his ties to BB is a new thing that Oda just came up with recently. Surely this wasn't part of his plot when he set up the Teach and Ace conflict and later marineford. Surely the stakes and conflict would have been upped even more if it became clear that Ace's dad was also responsible for BBs dad death. That arcs around the Summit war arc had major themes of pirates being defeated by WB and Roger and holding grudges. I feel like the Xebec, BB and Roger Ace connection should have been dropped even with keeping Xebec identity secret.
Nah, Oda revealed that Blackbeard's ship was called Saber of Xebec back in the late 2010s in one of those Vivre cards, right around the same time Rocks was even a thing.

Sounds like a ZKK follower who also underestimated King. Clown doesn't learn his lesson yet
ZKKclowns were pretending RT zoro is above King and downplaying King so much because they didn’t want him to fight King. Even Zorotards knew how trash King was. But after it got confirmed that King is Zoro’s fight, templebros swallowed their words like they always do and pushed King as a Yonko level threat

Amusingly enough, the Saber of Xebec was first mentioned in a Vivre card from November of 2018.

And Rocks D. Xebec was first mentioned in September of 2019.

Hell, you can look at the Vivre card translation in the image and see that "Xebec" was just associated with a type of ship at the time. :suresure:

Zoro isn’t going to get a solo adventure after the crew beats their last opponents. If Zoro fights Mihawk, Luffy has to fight someone that same arc.

Shiryu is the biggest issue with BB as final villain
I'm not saying that. What I’m saying is that no Straw Hat will achieve their dream right after the crew defeats the Blackbeard Pirates. This holds true no matter which final opponent or faction you believe they'll face.

What I’m talking about is just the last real crew vs crew battle.

Zoro can fight Mihawk after that.
It could take place right near the end, during the final rush to Laugh Tale, when it's probably just Luffy and Buggy still in the game.

I agree that Shiryu isn’t the right opponent to fulfill Zoro’s dream, but right now no one is except Mihawk.

No one seriously thinks Imu and his puppets are more dangerous than the crew of Xebec’s successor. And no one who’s really been paying attention to the story can believe Imu won’t fall to Teach.

Blackbeard will only be complete as a character and as a villain once he achieves what Xebec couldn't.

Imu was the antithesis of Joy Boy. It's the classic yin and yang, light versus darkness.
Imu vs Joy Boy, Xebec vs Roger, Teach vs Luffy.
Teach is the shadow of the third world, just as Luffy is its salvation.

the special bloodline is rocks now ? or is it the mother of BB/wife of rocks which allowed him to eat more then 1 devil fruit
Both could be true at the same time. There is something special about Teach's body. More than meets the eye. Was the same true of Rocks or his wife? Perhaps the answer is lost in the passage of time. I would venture to say that his origins began at the same time as Joyboy, or even Nika.
