To be clear I don't think it was shit and keep in mind I dropped it what feels like ages ago. The last arc I read was the one where they were facing against the guy who killed Oki or whatever his name was. I didn't drop it because I thoughtit was shit but just because I just didn't have the urge to read more. The pure formulaic power creep nature of that series was never something I was drawn to
on a macro level yes but other series have usually more to offer on top of that. I don't like One Piece's formulaic nature when it comes to most arcs but what keeps me reading is the lore, world building etc. Kingdom had none of thatto me. I enjoyed it while I read it but it was one of those pure power creep type of series.
To each their own but Kingdom has both politics and battle arcs so it's not simple unga go unga always
The tactics and different approaches of each general keeps it interesting as well
Power creep? Don't project OP onto kingdom
Hara keeps it under control even if little inconsistencies show up sometimes.
Kishimoto was such a fucking bum for making Tobirama the inventor of every fucking jutsu.
FTG should've been unique to Minato.
Tobirama should've had his own techniques.
Shadow Clones should've been invented by the Uzumaki's or Senju, since they're so blessed with vitality, or maybe some other mentioned clan like the Sarutobi, or Hagoromo (mentioned in passing and possible distant relatives to Senju/etc).
Who's that?
Nagato you mean?
Maybe up until the talk no jutsu i was but after changing his beliefs in a two minute conversation i can't do anything other than spit on his picture
You want Naruto characters you gotta go with Tobirama and it's not even close.

One piece has a power creep aspect as well but with kingdom it felt like that was all that it was. Keep in mind I'm out of the loop. Last arc I read was the one were the main character defeatet the guy who kille that Oki dude
Hara's biggest mistake was abandoning the hobbyist historian lens he used to write with.
Kingdom used to feel a lot more lively and consequential, now it's mostly just a series of events that happened with minimal connective tissue in between.
Hara's abandoned all interest in tilling the soil, and the work has suffered for it.
Bro you gotta see these new spoilers on X
"We see a panel of Xebeck vs the admiral"
Xebeck looks about about 2 years old, is wearing diapers and has a toy sword
Shit Kingdom is still running? That series was getting stale like 8 years ago when I dropped it. Is it still the same old formular of "one more battle, defeat this new cool general" and then rinse and repeat?
Back to back shit arcs
After the last big battle that was 100+ chapters we started getting shorter acrs and they have been hit or miss (mostly misses)
This new arc included
Hope we get back to form with the next one
