Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Maybe Rocks took control briefly and killed him too? And maybe was the one who scarred Shanks?

I'm seeing a potentially similar dynamic here with AFO and Shiggy or I guess Kurama and Naruto lmao.
Blackbeard definitely has some sort of Borderline Personality disorder...

There are multiple instances when he showed contrasting traits

Nobody can really compete with Vergo in his combo of style, skill, aura and still being somewhat goofy and gag worthy. Perhaps Doffy can match him in aura at times, but no one can really imagine Doffy being able to act classy, dude will stand on the table.

Vergo was really the complete package. you can compete with him in one thing, but everything? idk\

Him beating Sanji in a kick fight is a great example
Crocodile can do it... and there's no arguing with that.

Joyboy reveal when?
Yep, I bet next time we see Law he’ll hint at Teach having a different nature during battle
Aye that would make a lot of sense. There's gotta be a reason why Oda keeps offscreening his victories. Shanks was terrified of him and tried to warn Ace and Whitebeard Roo, he definitely saw something others aren't aware of with Blackbeard.

Zoro and Luffy sensed something was very off with Blackbeard at Jaya and they referred to him as "they". As in there could be others at present inside him like they could sense other souls or energies somehow? they could be referring to his crew but this is something Oda would do deliberately as a breadcrumb or hint to call back on. Actual foreshadowing lol.

Luffy and Garp are randomly narcoleptic which hasn't come up again in ages IIRC but it seemed to be a recurring thing with Ds as I believe Ace had that issue too?

Meanwhile Blackbeard also a D, ironically can't sleep at all supposedly. Is he afraid of dying from the cold in his sleep like what Luffy mentioned at Drum Island? is he too traumatised by the loss of his family (oda mentioned he lost a mother and a sister or two somewhere before or he just mentioned them at least?), or is being constantly tormented by the immortal presence of his own father, the most evil man to exist or something else? Trauma? Genetic anomaly that relates to why he can eat 2 fruits? a special race related thing? etc.

It's crazy we had Marco vs BB, Law vs BB, BBP showing up at Egghead and gunning for Vegapunks stuff at least and we still know so little about BB and his unusual body and how he can use 2 fruits and stole whitebeard fruit.

Where, when and how did Whitebeard get the gura gura fruit too? found it on gods valley? such an overwhelming, ancient weapon equivalent powerful fruit that sengoku said could destroy the world? gura and magu were called the strongest fruits IIRC in some form and yami was called the most evil too? Blackbeard even said the Yami called out to him?

Fuck man these mysteries are killing me.

God Enel>>
Vergo, sadly, is forgotten by most of the fandom except for a few stalwart fans on Worstgen like MZTS.
While everyone is eagerly anticipating the return of the Kami.

Yeah definitely. Maybe him getting Pudding on her side with her 3 eyes and his theme of 3 and split personality is no coincidence either? As in fate I mean?

I'm expecting he has some severe childhood trauma given how Whitebeard found him, knowing his father was Xebec and thus killed and his childhood drawing by Oda. That definitely can lead into severe personality disorders (as I should know from experience too).

Much is said about Xebec's appearance, but little is said about his personality. He seems to be the type: BREAK EVERYTHING and then ASK QUESTIONS.

What is his relationship with Harald? Did he know something the Kingdom of Elbaf was hiding? Was he in Elbaf searching for the legendary Devil Fruit? Or even something about the Lost Century? Knowing that Teach is a scholar and interested in history, could his father be an even more studious man?
