Why exactly was this chapter called a game changer?
We already knew Xebec was a swordsman from his fight against Roger.

And we already knew he killed an admiral from the previous chapter.

We didn't know the diff. Seeing how fresh he looked, it could have been a low or mid diff in the worst case scenario.

The real new info is that Harald was strong af and Loki will probably be as strong. If not stronger.
Clash of Herald and Rocks wasn't even at the level of Kaido and Luffy and they were comparing it with Whitebeard and Roger
This whole discussion is boring

Just wait and watch
Luffy will raid Mary Geoise alone or with Loki
Nothing else and will defeat everyone
One thing to not forget is that it has already been stated that Loki will take few months to fully recover so the Loki we are about to see in action is not gonna be the 100% healthy Loki.
Final War Loki will be even stronger than whatever performance feats he will pull off right now in Elbaf.

Well, having this Roger + level dude with Yonkous as subordinates injured after having fought a no named, not important Admiral, even in Marijoa, It's good actually.

And we didn't even see if was even a cheapshot after all the "murder" hint too, even though Xebec clearly has the strenght to beat one.
You really think he was already above Roger when he didn't even have a crew yet? Kind of crazy Xebec wank but I'm all for it

More importantly even after killing an Admiral , Xebec had more than enough strength to clash on an equal level with Harald.
And Xebec hasn't even formed his Rocks pirate crew yet so this wasn't even Peak Xebec which would be his God Valley version . That is crazy.
Serious answer:

I have been telling everyone Xebec was way older than WB and Roger. In this image he Is the spitting image of himself 8 years after, which Is classic for people of some age.
Xebec was already 30 of not 40 at the Reverie and 55~ at GV.

And I mean, at the Reverie we already saw him doubt a Prime WB/Roger like scene lol. If it was a rookie, all Emperors + Roger could go into hiding out of shame since Prime Xebec had them covered as a rookie lol.

Btw @MonsterKaido, do you concede? Or you still think that Is 20 YO Xebec?

Xebec is anywhere from early 20s to 30. Don't see what changed.

Imagine Peak Xebec strength laying dormant inside BB and then "them" using awakened Gura gura and awakened Yami yami on top of that. That would put BB (having awakened Xebec's peak strength) a tier or two above Prime Xebec , Prime Roger and Prime Whitebeard.

Okay, I get it now.

Oda makes it clear that Xebec's "swordsmanship" actually emulates other instruments like a hammer and a cannon. That's why Mihawk is more skilled than Shanks, because he can produce better cuts (the essence of the sword), while Shanks uses the sword as a completely different instrument, and that's why he will never be called a swordsman.

This is not only not a defeat, but A DECISIVE VICTORY FOR SHANKS.
