either admirals from before were much weaker or the admiral held back massively considering how the strongest pirate x strongest giant clash looked massively inferior to that of retired Garp and mentally conflicted Kuzan that was akin to a tactical nuke

So what exactly about this clash looks superior? Small buildings surrounding them were caught in the blast. In Xebec vs Harald there were no small buildings in the vicinity.

Even Luffy's and Katakuri's CoC collision made physical damage to the surroundings, just like Big Mom's scream made the rockets fired at her set off.

Roger's and Whitebeard's clash tilted the Moby dick at the edge of the island and shook the sea beyond, with fodders being propelled across the air at the edge of the island.

And you think Garp and Aokiji damaging small buildings in their vicinity is peak. Lol.
