I don’t think Buggy is a son of Rocks like many speculate. It doesn’t make sense that the narrator would immediately tell us Rocks is BB’s dad, but keep it hidden that Buggy is also his son. However, I don’t think the similarities between Rocks and Buggy are just a coincidence. I think that just like Weevil is a failed clone of WB, Buggy is a failed clone of Rocks. If CG frees Weevil, it’d be a nice connection between him and Buggy

Idk. The only real narrative reason for CG to fight the SHs is for Zoro vs Mihawk, but what would the rest of the crew be doing? I guess Croc could be a decent fight for Sanji since his bounty implies he’s YC1 level at minimum now, but if Zoro’s beating Mihawk extreme diff, then Croc shouldn’t be that difficult for that version of Sanji. Buggy would get instantly folded by even Base Luffy obviously, and there’d be no one for the rest of the SHs to fight unless Oda actually starts having a lot more heavy hitters join CG.
The reason why Buggy is not revealed as 2nd son of Rocks yet is for the audience to argue whether Rocks has a 2nd son or not while Oda is already going a step further and gonna reveal a 3rd son as well, alongside Buggy.
