I'll add some extra points.
We know forging a black blade improves the durability/hardness and possibly sharpness and weight of the sword, which sounds cool, but is absolutely useless in most high level fights because the blades/fists of the best haki masters don't even touch when they're going all out.
As you said, Rocks doesn't even cut, his attacks are like heavy blunt force or even explosions, he can pull off the same type of attacks even if he had a bat in his hands instead of a sword, he just prefers a sword and his blade is probably a very valuable one that he had for a very long time and gotten used to it, no point of trading it for an inferior weapon.

Erkan is unironically one of the best powerscalers on this forum, I respect the fact that he's holding on to his beliefs even when many people are against him.
I agree with him 9/10 times and even if I don't, I can see the logic behind it, that definitely beats agreeing 1/10000 times with most other users.
