Powers & Abilities Shanks agenda is NOT dead

As much as people like to meme about it, there is a reasonable chance that “haki wizardry” is a real thing and Shanks and Roger both had it.

The biggest reason for this is the fact that one of Roger’s biggest rivals, WB, had a busted DF on top of haki abilities Roger has already shown. How did Roger keep up with the Gura if he didn’t have a special ability of his own?

Then you have Rayleigh and Gaban, who also could coat their weapons in CoC. How was Roger the captain if his crew had the exact same powers as him?

Lastly you have Xebec. Xebec was a swordsman who also had ACoC. But we also know he was hunting two legendary DFs and there’s a high chance he got at least one of them on God Valley.

Ultimately while it is by no means confirmed, it is still reasonable to assume Shanks and Roger both had haki abilities above and beyond simple weapon coating. Especially since Luffy himself can use haki barriers like Roger and he’s still yet to beat Imu or Teach, indicating there’s still levels of haki Luffy is yet to master.

Overall when WB, Teach, Imu, and probably Xebec all had busted DF powers, it is difficult to assume simple CoC/CoA coated swordsmanship is all Shanks and Roger have.

But I also know that Oda is goofy so there's a 1% chance Shanks' fighting style really could be something absolutely ridiculous like being a haki sorcerer

Until that's confirmed though it's Mihawk > Shanks

Mihawk could very well be stronger than Shanks

but keep in mind, whatever haki power up Luffy is getting to beat Teach/Imu, Shanks and Roger probably already have it

ACoC and ACoA were crucial in beating Kaido
FS was crucial in beating Kata

stands to reason Luffy’s final haki buff will be crucial in beating Teach

of course it won’t be the only thing Luffy uses. Luffy used G5 on Kaido and snake man on Kata as well.

As far as Mihawk is concerned, then even though title makes him above Shanks, but there is something which doesn't add up and that is Mihawk not getting same hype by other characters as Shanks get
