It really depends on what happens after the fight with IMU.
I expect by end of 2025/early 2026 the fight with Gunkimu will be over.
But after that, we might get an Elbaf 2.0 in the Sun Realm.
Or, we could be going straight to the next island (Lodestar?)
Or, we could follow IMU to MJ.
So...
Yeah, IDK. By Jan/Feb I forsee the present storyline in Elbaf to be concluded, but I don't expect us to leave the island just yet.

I think it will be on the shorter side. Probably 5 more Flashback chapters. 2-3 chapters of the characters learning how to stop the Regeneration. 2-3 chapters outside of Elbaf following other characters. And 10-15 chapters of fighting and forcing the Holy Knights to withdraw. Then 5 chapters to wrap it up. So early-middle 2027

You would expect Elbaph to run longer than Egghead since it has been built up for a while.

So, maybe the end of 2026. It could run even longer.

Elbaph Arc:
- 31+ chapters (so far)
- Sept 2024 - ???? (11 months, 9 days)

Aren't you all forgetting Oda's excessive breaks? End of 2026.
Yeah, despite Egghead being 10 chapters shorter than WCI, it took longer to finish due to an increase in Oda's breaks over the years.

Whole Cake Island Arc:
- 78 chapters
- May 2016 - Apr 2018 (1 year, 11 months, 14 days)

Egghead Arc:
- 68 chapters
- Aug 2022 - Sept 2024 (2 years, 11 days)

Ngl it feels like this flashback could end any minute, King Harald is already bald. An entire chapter dedicated to Loki and King Harald could wrap a majority of things up. I’d say 2 more chapters for this flashback.

we gonna see god valley. At least some parts. That alone should take 2+ chapters.

we then still have to see harald in marie joa. his interaction with shank there. and then in elfab and his death.

At least 4 chapters imo

At least 20-30

Flashback has 5 chapters left max

That leaves 15-20 chapters for any fights, scuffles, and other interactions (potential Brook/Gunko extended backstory)

Few more chapters to wrap up the arc

If we get a Wano-like ending with us taking a look at the outside world it’ll be significantly longer (due to the time dilation)

As much as I want Elbaph to be wrapped up relatively quick, it does seem like we're going longer than I thought we would. I think early to mid 2026 is looking more and more likely at this point. It's still possible that this all wraps up before the end of the year, but I think sometime next is looking more likely at this point.

We still have a few more chapters of this flashback within a flashback within a flashback left. I'm not convinced we're going to see the entirety of God Valley, but we'll probably at least get a few more glimpses. Plus, I have to wonder if we'll end up getting more God Valley flashbacks once we meet up with Scopper again, in a Elbaph epilogue. I could see Oda holding something big back, that Scopper reveals once he meets with the Strawhats again. So, this might not even be our only God Valley flashback this arc. We could see God Valley from Rocks' perspective via Loki AND the Roger crew's perspective via Scopper. Though, I could see Loki's reaction to hearing about Rocks' death actually taking longer than the actual God Valley part of the flashback. Loki not believing the news he hears, and going out to try and find Rocks on his own or something, maybe.

Plus, we still have to actually see what led up to Harald's death. And probably a little of Loki and Shanks' first fight. That alone could be a handful of chapters. Seeing who actually stole the Legendary Devil Fruit and why. How Harald got "possessed". Explaining the summoning circle in the throneroom. The Harald's Death part of the flashback could take a few chapters alone.

And we might need to see what happened to Ida. Maybe she's just alive in the present day. But, maybe she died. And if she's dead, her death might be a few chapters, just to make us all cry.

I honestly don't think the battle with Imu and the God's Knights will take that long, once we finally make it back to the present. For one, Mariejois is under attack, so Imu might have to take the God's Knights back just to deal with that suddenly. Plus, I have to wonder if Imu will just...freak out once they see Luffy in Gear 5? Will just hearing the Drums of Liberation again give Imu another "panic attack" and just make Imu run away? I could see there being a relatively quick end to the fight on Elbaph.

I do think we'll see a Loki Devil Fruit reveal before that though. Because...we still don't know what he's got. And that feels like it'd take a couple of chapters, if only because the actual reveal feels like a cliffhanger for a chapter sort of thing, before it actually gets unleashed.

Plus, we might reveal who Mosa is. That could happen in the middle of the battle. Personally, I'm thinking Mosa is actually Imu. So, if that's the case, it's possible Loki recognizes Imu's voice. Or it could be someone else. But, revealing Mosa feels like another cliffhanger for a chapter.

Then there's the whole Brook and Gunko flashback thing. I...don't know if we're actually going to deal with that this arc or not? That might be a ongoing plot thread for future arcs. We'll probably get a little more on it. But, chances are Gunko will get yoinked back to Mariejois along with everyone else by Imu. If only to deal with the threat to Mariejois. So, I'm not expecting a conclusion to that here.

I am expecting some sort of fallout of Luffy revealing that he has the Nika Fruit to the Giants. I'm not totally sure how they'll react to that. It could just be cause for another big party. Or the Strawhats might be in some trouble. I guess it kind of depends on what Loki's Devil Fruit turns out to be, in part. There could be a rift between those who think Luffy's the true Sun God, and those who think Loki is. Or...maybe Oda sidesteps that whole issue, and the Giants never even realize Luffy has the Nika Fruit...somehow. Who knows?

Plus, there is the Heaven/Astral Layer of Elbaph that we still haven't seen yet. Maybe that's tied to Loki's Devil Fruit. Or maybe Scopper could just bring the Strawhats up there for their chat after the fight is over. Maybe Scopper's "gift" for them is up there?

I know some people are expecting it, but I honestly don't expect too much of a timeskip at this point. We might get a small training arc, where the Strawhat's master Scopper's anti-regeneration technique. But, we'll probably flash around the world to catch up with other characters at the same time. I'm still thinking 2Y3D could be a thing. ("You think it'll take us 2 years to master this technique? No way, old man! We can master this...in 3 days!")

And flashing around the world may take a few chapters. We'll probably see what the Revolutionaries and Blackbeard have been up to, at least. MAYBE we could see what's become of Law, Bartolomeo, and Kidd. Maybe some other random things, like finding out what happened to Moria and Perona. Or Vivi's adventures with Big News Morgans. Or where Clone-Stussy went. Or Caribou meeting with Blackbeard. Or Smoker and his mystery cube.

Lilith still needs to explore the Ancient Lab more. And Mecha-Vegapunk has to come online (who might explain how objects can "eat" Devil Fruits, finally). And we might get a hint at Kuma healing. The Strawhats might help rebuild the library. So, that might be a chapter or two in a Elbaph epilogue.

Plus, we have to find out what the price of "lingering on Elbaph" is. And at this point...yeah, I think this qualifies as a linger.

Robin parting with Saul might be expanded out a little, if only for maximum feels.

Honestly, all the post-Imu battle stuff might take longer than the actual battle with Imu.

So, yeah. I guess I could see this actually taking another 20 chapters or so. Maybe more? And we only have about 15 chapters left this year. So, yeah, probably early next year is my best guess?

I'll admit, I was wrong about Elbaph being a short arc like Zou. I doubt that will qualify by the time it ends. Once we get through the rest of the flashback, and the battle, and all the epilogue stuff, it could be a little while. I doubt it'll stretch into 2027. But, who knows?
