This is 1033 Spoiler Summaries from Korean dude:

Chapter 1,033: "Shimotsuki Kozaburo".
- Zoro attacks King directly, but there is an explosion.
- Sanji Vs. Queen.
- Queen: "That guy is a survivor of the" Lunaria tribe ", which was wiped out.
A monster that can survive in any environment in the world.​

1. In the story itself, the Bucaneer thing kind of just came out of nowhere? Which would be one thing if it was just Kuma, but if this is supposed to be a major plot relevant group, it's kind of a late reveal of their existence. Same is kind of true for Lunarians I think.

2. we don't really know what the Bucaneers even are I don't think. Obviously they are taller then regular humans, but a lot of OP characters are like that.

3. This still doesn't explain Teach eating 2 DF's as other Bucaneers can't either, given Teach was the first one

I understand you fully. I felt the same when the holy knights got introduced seemingly out of nowhere. Like where were the signs or even a single mention of them up until that point? But it kinda worked. I liked their design, and now are we even getting more of them this chapter? That's cool.

For the Buccaneers, at least, we had somewhat of a hint that there could be more races than we knew, thanks to Big Mom saying that she is missing some races. We got the lunarians, and then the buccaneers.

To your third point. Yeah, some people already assume that now any buccaneer could just eat 2 devil fruits. That wouldn't make Blackbeard that special anymore in regard to his unique abilities. There were also comments here and there about "if they could all eat 2 devil fruits now, why didn't Rocks just eat the fruit he wanted to give Harald so badly." But then again, Rocks stated that only Harald could use its full potential. Good arguments on both sides.

Then there also is the thing with Blackbeard who "allegedly" never sleeps.

And there was this rumor once, that Blackbeard had some sort of 'hidden ability'. I heard occasionally that this myth was debunked, but now with all the reveals about Blackbeard, I am not so sure anymore.

Okay let’s assume the Teach’s two DF thing is a buccaneer trait that means Kuma must have it too

and the main unique attribute Kuma was stated to have was his ability to somehow remain conscious yet his mind had been erased

Let assume these two situations are related. Teach being able to eat two DFs and Kuma having his mind erased yet he somehow manages to be conscious

We are told that two DFs cannot be eaten because the “devils” inside the DF would fight each other and destroy the person who ate the DFs.

Kuma and Teach have the ability to split their minds/souls into pieces (Big mom style). This is the power of buccaneers.

This power is broken even outside of eating two DFs. For example Imu’s Domi reversi is a corruption of the soul, Buccaneers are probably able to become immune to it by splitting off the “corrupted” part of their souls. That’s why Imu specifically has it out for buccaneers. Eating multiple DFs doesn’t matter to Imu, being immune to Domi Reversi is the issue

Gunko is on God valley to demonstrate this. Gunkimu going to Domi Reversi Rocks and Rocks is going to resist it by splitting off the corrupted part of his soul due to his Buccaneer power
