Gaban is likely going to have a 20 minute clash with Sommers where he uses FS to see that Sommers impales him in the chest and has to actively avoid his attack so he doesn't die

It's so dumb, it takes away from Zoro's identity as a fighter. One Piece is already bad enough as it with haki doing this...toei only making things worse.

And it's not even like Zoro can't be "fast".
Zoro has a lot of short sprint attacks, like shishi sonson, etc.

But this is a easy way to "delete" zoro from the scene and replace him with some weird ass light that is easier to animate instead.

He uses FS before that, he's known as the forfeit man for a reason.

We Sanji bros have reached Top Tier endurance and durability after all this years of Toei.
Being a Sanji fan is a difficult yet satisfing path.

They gave him tons of yellow aura when he was gliding around the island. That was apparently great animation didn’t see single complaint from you folks that episode. Besides why are you so bothered by the type of animation they choose for character you guys despise

There was close to zero aura in the Kizaru scenes. It was pretty pure as far as actually animating the character goes. Only gripe with Kizaru is they kept failing to draw a straight line, he was moving in circles which was flat out stupid.

Take that in though, Kizaru is a man literally made of light and even he had far less of a lightshow than whatever this was supposed to be. That's actually embarrassing for this fight.

As it stands Lucci vs Luffy remains by far the best fight to come out of Egghead. This was a reskin of Zoro vs King where it made no sense.

It's still extremely ugly as fuck sloppy pyrotechniques to mimic the Kimetsu sequences.

The environment looks like a Street Fighter Training Stage.

Companies tried too hard to push for cheaper animations on tighter schedules. Here's what we get.

I'm happy for those that enjoy it still, though.

I would respect it if they were consistent with their criticism call out every episode that used excessive aura. But they only act like rabid dogs when it’s marimo episode which makes it obvious their frustrations really has nothing to do with animation it’s just used as an excuse to vent
