• Kyo is nowhere mentioned, so he most likely betrayed, and Shiki dealt with him off-screen.

We already knew that HK were fodders the moment Rayleigh's equal defeated the same opponent w/o effort.

We saw that HK are strong

For weaker strong people they are really good and strong :
- they all have nice hax and complicated to deal with DF
- they all have good enough haki and skills (Sommers and Gunko are quite skilled)
- they obviously have regen that is really difficult to deal with for normal people
- and something that is really rare : they are competent and not stupid

So yeah they are a menace for most of the verse

I mean is Garling like 1,000 times stronger than Sommers? Of course not, the Figarland gang are all relative to the Holy Knights and this character who teen Marco level Rayleigh just one shot.

Join Papa Lee before the inevitability of his infinite correctness sets in once again. It is an exercise in futility to oppose Him, Oda is Papa Lee’s slave after all.

Sommers gets downplayed because of how he was treated by Gaban and Ray, but to be fair to Sommers, we are talking about Gaban and Ray here.

Sommers being taken out by those two is not that surprising.

Against anyone else and Sommers actually does pretty good against, he is easily stronger than a Vice Admiral as shown when he defeated Saul, and he also dealt with Robin easily as well.

Even that one large HK Girl had that unfortunate luck of dealing with Whitebeard of all people.

We really had HKs are top tier and HKs>Admirals type of takes.
