Character Discussion Dragon will be a gunman/sniper/marksman

#1
Theory: Dragon fighting style will be similar to Usopps and Ben-Beckman, he will use a gun in his fights. He will not fight close quarters combat.

Dragon was first introduced with a gun in the god valley flashback around chapter 1060 as a marine. He shoots a celestial dragon from behind using a skilled gun shot tranquilizing his enemy, without anyone noticing (Kuma and Ivankov). tldr; He invested into these skills: marksman and sneak.

> Where did you learn about weapons Dragon? ~ Kuma in Egghead island flashback

> I was a marine once, but found no justice there. ~ Dragon replies.

This dialogue relates to him collecting guns for his revolutionary army. But he might as well be a weapons stash expert himself to organize the armaments of his organization like that. Notice how most revolutionaries are equipped with guns.

He learned how to use a gun in the marines as a low ranking member. He had the gun equipped, while other marines at God Valley are armed with swords. In contrast imagine Garp or Luffy using a gun, it does not fit their fighting style or character at all, even as a 16 year old. Dragons character is that of a silent threat. He does not like to talk much, but seems to have good strategy planning and observation Haki:

1. Found Sabo close before his death 2 times (one time in the city, one time while he drowned in the ocean); Always at the right time at the right place. Perfect for a sniper.
2. He can travel around the world quickly on his own, as him going to Louge-Town to save Luffy from smoker in east blue in the egghead island flashback shows. This reminds me of van Augers warp warp fruit; a scout; a lone traveler; a gunman.
3. He has insanely fast movement speed, he seems to be able to use his fruit to fly. Notice the wind swirls around him, when he returns after rescuing Sabo. "Sorry for being late" he says after traversing a huge distance with unconscious kid Sabo.

But what about the Dragon-Claw technique Sabo received from Dragons training, does this not hint at Dragon using a fighting style without weapons, bare hands, like the rest of his family?
The dragon claw technique is useful to destroy an opponents armor, crack their skull or destroy huge stone structures (Sabo destroying the coliseum tournament platform). I will argue these techniques are well suited for urban combat but seem to require long charge time, not good for instant damage. A sniper might use the dragon claw to break walls and get access to better sight-lines, victory in close quarters combat is a nice side effect, but only if needed. Even Sabo mainly uses his staff, and the Dragon claw for his finishing move against Burgess and Fujitora in Dressrosa.

Where does he hide his gun? Under the giant green coat obviously ๐Ÿ˜
Or Oda just forgot to draw it lmao, as you see the gun clearly on his back in chapter 1063 (it is magnetic and gets attracted towards captain John) but it is not present in chapter 1062.
