Lilo and Stitch spoilers.
So they made Jumba the only antagonist (cause no Gantu) and he gets rearrested at the end, split Cobra into two characters (one CIA agent, one social worker woman), introduce a new next door neighbour character called Tūtū that takes all of Nani's positive portrayal scenes and the film ends with Tūtū becoming the legal guardian of Lilo which allows Nani to sod off and become a marine biologist.

I just watched Elio, from Pixar. Nice movie visually and musically, though far from their best movies writingwise.
Still I have the feeling that aside for Inside Out 2, the market for Pixar movies has been really lacking, with this movies and Elemental suffering from it.
Looks like everything marketing-wise went to Lilo and Stitch remake, with Disney being so desperate to make up for the Snow White catastrophy.

I wouldn't be surprised if Disney is sabotaging Pixar to close the studio down and have Pixar's intellectual properties prop up the Disney brand directly.
Elemental was just a really boring, piss poor allegory movie with unlikeable protagonists.
Meanwhile, most of Pixar's recent movies look like they copied the art style of that infamous GrubHub advert.

The thing is, anti ai sentiment is only high in a vocal minority like us and other social media addicts.
A large majority of Disney consumers are kids and their tech illiterate parents. All of whom consume ai slop with no problem.
So I don't have much hope that this will backfire on Disney and Iger lol.

The future of animation is the standard set by Sony Pictures Animation.
This video(Specifically this video.) explains the amazing character transformation they achieved, making them revolutionary in the animation industry. It's worth watching. (I'm not going to rewrite everything to avoid making this post too long. I've learned the lesson of never writing unsubstantial walls of texts, and I will always follow it.)

Disney ain't going nowhere its a multi-billion dollar company in fact it holds the record for the most billion dollar box office movies ny a wide margin with 29 total movies, they own the rights to both Starwars and Marvel both of which are billion dollar franchises between the movies, speaking of billion dollar movies, the live action lilo and stitch crossed a billion shows and merchandise, it owns Fox so all that ESPN + Revenue is going to Disney, and it owns Hulu so if you have a Hulu you're still paying Disney. I haven't even mentioned toy sales yet. And toy story 5 is dropping soon yeah theres another billion its very rare that disney animation movies don't make a profit for the company
