For ex, if a communist explains that a revolution is needed through a state, go check what anarchists have to say about this. I'm just reading lots of things about Marxism, because it's the mainstream left-wing ideology in Latin America. The most left-wing I'm willing to go is social democracy. The reason for this is that it is wise to know the ins and outs of your enemy and that minarchism is a distant dream in Brazilian society. It will take generations for the average Joe down here to stop idolizing the State. Foro de São Paulo was created to recreate in Latin America what was lost in Eastern Europe. I don't hate the social democracy that Europe has. I do hate the authoritarianism, corruption, incompetence, and demagogy that it can enable. A realistic solution right now is social democracy with even further checks and balances to prevent such things. It's hard not to believe that you are lost to fascism. You cannot even make the effort of projecting yourself beyond your vision. Instead, you find those who agree with you to confirm what yor beliefs, forgetting that there is a part of the population that you ignored.
