this is beyond irrelevant, because there is more to the franchise than just the manga?!
I wonder where Naruto and DB did achieve that, I see nothing like that besides having diverse hypes and fleeting flashmobs centered around it, similair to Pokemon
Most of the points I would give it are for it's cultural impact on the manga community.
So no matter what I rate it, even if it's a 10/10, at least 5 of those points would be because of the hype/excitement Oda created, iconic characters, merchandise, memories and even it's knock on impact in promoting other manga/anime content as well as the money generated.
Modern animanga would not exist in it's current form without one piece, dbz and naruto which would be a shame. The story telling, character design and artwork on one piece is not even in my top 10 (maybe character design), but for most intents I appreciate it for what it did for the industry so has to be 10.

The story telling and the way Oda builds up villains and arcs is unparalleled imo. He takes his time and doesn’t rush things.
Some of the flaws are his lack of creativity in fights, cringe fanservice with woman, neglecting other important characters for the sake of Luffy.
Despite its flaws it’s still a top manga.

It's not even that bad a score. If I was a fiction author and I saw that the vast majority of scores on my work was an even spread of 6/10 to 10/10, I'd be fairly chuffed.
It is just miserable, wailing sassenachs that think Oda is literally Nippon Shakespeare that get their cloaca in a twist over people being less enthusiastic over this series than they are.

Being less enthusiastic is one thing, trashing the story over and over is another. This little edgelord critical mindset is not new, it's not particular and it's not a sign of superior intelligence. Transforming such biases into clunky and poorly thoughts analysis is not media literacy, it's toxicity transformed into social inertia. I've seen hater with more respect for this story than the "fans" of this insecure forum.
Let's put aside this absurd score that does not make sense on a pure objective storytelling basis. The problem here is that people who "mildly" like the story meaning consider it as "just good enough" are monopolizing the space and preventing those who love it to have healthy and positive conversation about it. This is the reality of this forum. People like me are forced to shut up & quit or face negativity.
