In fact, I think they are currently searching for and clinging to anything to get around the fact that their expectations about God Valley were shattered, and that nothing here was more impressive than what Kaido demonstrated. It's sad, but it's the truth.
I also had high expectations for Roger Pk and Garp, but it's sad that they're less impressive than Kaido.

I see what you're getting at but don't think that matters all that much.
Just like you can see Loki leading the Ancient Giants during the final war, I can see Zoro leading the Samurai and Sanji leading Germa etc. Moreover the SHs are the only ones that know where Gallleia is atm even if they haven't drawn a connection to it atm. Then there's Hadrujin as well who is part of Luffy's Grand Fleet. Loki being an ally will only take away from that. There'a a million reasons why Loki will most likely join the SHs, this rich plot line in Gallelia is just one of them imo.
