Lazy is the way
I don’t know about the best movies since 2020

I likely forgot lots of them even the great ones

best animation movie since 2020 : Spiderverse was a bang for me animation wise, insane quality of the product (Flow was great too but quite different).

SF : I think Dune part 1 was a bang too. Really good movie, it really captured you into the Dune universe. Dune 2 was cool but the first part was better. The whole trilogy is fire for now.

otter movies : I really remembered tte Zone of Interest. The execution of the idea was perfectly done, it was kinda « absolute » in his execution.

We have also great ones like : Titane, Brutalist, anatomy of a fall etc etc

Groundhog Day.

10/10.

One if not the best and most heartfelt of Bill Murray, a film that really explores and shows the comedic and tragic aspects at the same time of a time loop for one person, with them having to relive the same day for an eternity until they finally find a way somehow out of it.

The film is mostly a comedy but isn't afraid to be dark at times with Phil trying desperately to escape the time loop by committing suicide, when we see a child falling from the tree or the homeless man dying with Phil being powerless to stop it, as well as him confessing to Rita about him being locked in a time loop to the point that she believes him.

It's also a good character development movie with the character of Phil being an arrogant, self-centered and pompous jerk if still funny guy, only to go through the time loop, with him taking advantage of it to seduce Rita and other women, only to become desperate and then suicidal as he still can't get out of it, to him accepting his situation and becoming a far nicer and selfless man at the end and using the loop to learn new skills.

It's a shame that this movie was the breaking point between Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, as the two worked so well together, to the point that it took Ramis being dying for the two to make up.
