Has anyone had a more historic falloff than Orochimaru? Everything kinda just fell apart for him after Tenchi Bridge

It was revealed he got negged by teenage Itachi with a casual Sharingan genjutsu
Sasuke beat his ass
Itachi negged him once again
Kabuto became like 10x stronger than him in like 2 months
It was revealed he was totally inept at learning Snake Sage Mode even though the dude is a human snake
And lastly, he became some background cheerleader in the final war despite having access to all his Jutsu again and even gaining Hashirama cells

Unfortunately not. Orochimaru was the greatest fumble Kishi has ever had which was always ridiculous when he clearly intended to have a Orochimaru like villain alongside Tobi trigger the FV using edo tensei anyways.

In my headcanon Kabutomaru is pretty much what peaked Orochimaru would've been with a healthy body.

How’s S5? Haven’t watched it yet

Chapter 1 was great. Obviously it isn’t a complete story so a lot of it still feels incomplete. But one huge improvement it does over the last season is giving all characters appropriate screentime and development. If you’re a Will or a Mike fan then this is a great season for you. Definitely catch up before New Year’s Eve since that’s when the Finale is being released. I don’t think we’re gonna be disappointed because the trajectory seems amazing.

Chapter 2 released like an hour ago but I haven’t watched it yet cause I got a flight in a couple hours but I’m trusting it to be great hopefully.

I think it's worth pointing out that the white Snake Zoan Orochimaru pulled out is probably OP as shit, he was just against the only opponent who had the perfect counter to it(Itachi), with the totsuke blade that he specifically collected on purpose, most likely for Orochimaru.

This shit probably puts him above Jiraiya and Tsundade, at least

Tbh I think it’s just because Kishi wanted to wank Kabuto and Itachi.

Itachi neg diffing a Sannin established what a powerhouse he is, and Kishimoto needed to get Orochimaru out of the way so that Kabuto could take over his role in the story

The spoilers say that Harald let Loki kill him, but this was only after Loki shattered his CoC armor. So Loki effectively overpowered him which brought Harald back to his senses.
