With Loki it's okay to get excited about his strength but I'd say lets wait to get proper context before jumping the gun.

In what way do you mean? Author's pet it's pretty hard. Itachi got undue respect by being allowed to one shot incredibly powerful shinobi routinely, using new hidden jutsu every time we saw him

Minato got a lot of kudos from the other Kages including Tobirama on his speed, he's constantly hyped in the story as a (ever moving?) goal post that all modern kage respect. And he was able to use Bijuu Mode within 30 minutes of being a conscious jinchuuriki. Though Minato becomes irrelevant once Juubi Jinchuurikis pop up, that'd never happen to Itachi
