It was just a simple advcoc hit that even Yamato could do. This part is more of a story than a power level test.

This basically confirms Yonko Shanks probably isn’t a pure swordsman. Flashback shanks has been shown fighting:

• Using both arms
• Holding his sword in his left arm, which he later lost

And yet we know Shanks got stronger, defeated Loki, and became yonko after losing his left arm.

Shanks changed his fighting style. It is literally impossible for him to use the same style of fighting without his left arm.

Dude most likely became a mixed fighter like King, using kicks + swordsmanship.

The more plausible explanation is that Shanks' Haki became much stronger. Adding kicks won't add any benefit. A (presumably) supreme grade blade Shanks is skilled at using will most definitely be stronger than incorporating kicks. It's not comparable to King, who isn't a supremely good swordsman, has no Meito, CoC and has a variety of other strong tools (DF and Lunarian flames).

This is most of the story part of this chapter. Loki only hit once and the squirrel quickly surrendered. Loki's weapon was broken and the squirrel was not particularly injured. He could still attack and hurt Loki, who has no weapon or protection, but he didn't attack Loki. Why?

I'm starting to feel that Loki can't Control his DF, it should be treated like a different Character,
Loki without his DF have Two Fighting Styles based on Adv. CoC + DF Powers (Ragnir),
Similar to how WB, Kaidou & Big Mom also have Two Fighting Styles,

When Loki Transforms, He basically becomes another Character completely,
A Beast Warrior who fights with Extreme Violence, Immune to Pain with High Endurance,
I believe My First Guess is True, Elbaph DF turns you into God of Berserkers,

In other words, Loki didn't Transform into a Dragon or Wolf or Snake, He became a Bear,
He is basically Volibear (From League of Legends) of One Piece, and it's fitting that Elbaph DF belongs to OG Elbaph (Who represents Odin),
And Odin was indeed God of Berserks, who can Awaken such Army,

That's what Galleila is for, Loki can turn them into his Berserker Army,
And you want a Hint from Start of Arc? Look at Human Loki Followers in Underworld, They wear Animal Skin which makes them look like Berserkers, hinting at who Loki truly is,

When people like gunko or staurn were missing half there bodies .
Also if we go by Gaban this chapter the stronger the attack the longer it take to heal so loki with his DF attack damage did not even last long.
