People forget Oda lacks creativity and doesn’t implement half of what fans think would be cool and complex into the story

Usopp never had more aura than he did fighting Luffy in W7. Dude was insanely locked in

THAT was a good example of him having all the necessary tools for an oponent already on him. Because he studied Luffy for months beforehand.

Fast forward and he has plants that can propell themselves forward because he's too far away from his target, plants that can put enemies to sleep for crowd control, plants that can tie enemies up etc etc. And the worst part? All the seeds look identical to each other.

I'm not mad at the pop greens existing but I do wish he still used things like dials and could trick his opponents into accidentally fucking themselves over like he did with Perona by finding her real body and trapping it so she couldn't return to it
