Powers & Abilities Mihawk was wrong or never faced actual overpowered opponent ?

Mihawk says that if you infuse your weapon with Haki it wont get broken.

Yet even with using strongest form of haki coating acoc Loki´s hammer got shattered against Ragnir

So either Oda is doing retcon or Mihawk never witnessed power strong enough to break even weapons coated in acoc haki ?

When someone tells you "Wear a Coat, it's Cold outside" & then Kuzan appears & Uses Ice Age, it doesn't mean the Story was retconned lol
Haki does Protect Weapon from Breaking, but it doesn't mean "Any Haki" can Protect from "Any Threat".

However, if you care about "Context", Mihawk followed by saying "Any Weapon can be turned into a Black Blade" which is Protecting your Sword at it's finest, and good luck to Ragnir trying to break a Black Blade.

If simply coating your weapon with Haki made it unbreakable, the concept of perma black sword wouldn't be needed.

Just like a stronger haki breaks through a comparatively weaker haki, a stronger attack/haki should manage to break haki coated weapons. You just need to have stronger Haki, or a perma black weapon.

or Mihawk's haki is so strong it forged a black blade that cant be broken, so anyone who cant even protect their weapons with haki to him they are nothing but weak insects

I saw this on twitter too.

This is a matter of reading comprehension. Mihawk never says if you infuse your blade it will never break.

He was talking about in the context of his fight with Zoro, when Mihawk broke his swords.

He is saying if Zoro coated his blade then, the attack Mihawk did for pre-ts zoro would not have broken his blades.

He never said if you infuse your blade, then in general it will never break. That goes against multiple scenarios besides this one.

1. Zoro breaking kings blade
2. This loki scenario
3. Blades being able or not being able to withstand the might of someones haki
