Could Loki‘s df be the Hraesvelgr fruit? It could explain the freezing ability, flight, and bipedal silhouette that we saw. It’s like a giant eagle.

Found this in God of War lore:

“It's possible that Hræsvelgr is the one who‘s responsible for causing Helheim to be in a state of permanent deep-freeze, as her mighty wings flapping could be what causes the severe cold winds blowing unceasingly like it does in Norse Mythology.”

It's a good guess.

Depends on what part of the lore Oda wants to emphasize.

Ragnir is more related to Niddhogg, as lightning powers. The cold is associated with Niddhogg too in some media, but not always.

Y’all keep calling giants an unreliable source yet fail to see this is a story being narrated by an author. Their words were written by the author to convey a message to us. Giants aren’t some separate source that are independent of the manga they’re in. Ask yourself, why would Oda make the giants lie about something especially during a character’s introduction? Then reiterate that same statement through Jinbei and Gaban himself confirming it’s the general sentiment in the OP world. Why would Oda mislead his readers for no reason?

You guys got to stop pretending like characters and their words are independent of the context of the manga they’re in. Sure, characters lie and deceive at times. But that can be justified by narration and context. Or future contradictions. There’s literally nothing suggesting this was one of those instances since this is an introduction and character’s reputation during introductions are what the author intends for the most part. Of course there are exceptions like Momo being Kinemon’s son but once again, that can be justified through the context of a plot twist. Why would there be a plot twist here? Unless you believe Gaban was never Roger’s wing at all which is frankly just stupidity.

Bringing up Garp’s words on Rayleigh also changes nothing since Rayleigh being a living legend and being relative to Gaban isn’t mutually exclusive. It’s also extremely disingenuous of Zoro fans for denying character statements since Mihawk’s entire hype relies on it and they gassed up the mere mention of Rayleigh in the same sentence as Whitebeard (with NO evidence of ANY equivalence in strength or reputation) and are now denying verbatim statements that put Rayleigh and Gaban as relative.

I’d like to see you try to explain the mental gymnastics you’d perform to justify your oxymoronic claims and logic but you’re probably gonna read and run from this like the rest of your sword swallower friends.

Over the break weeks.
I've seen some votes and power scaling debates around different media......regarding Harald, Rocks, Roger, Loki etc.
Especially the usual suspect like Yt, twitter platform

Let me share my experience 😂
Ppl are on damage control the more Roger and others looks mid and all the defenders do is cope.
After GV revealed that Roger doesn't look that much special compared to prime Yonko, Garp etc.
Majority of them making absolutely hopuim headcanon that 39 yo Roger was FAARRR from prime and magical grew stronger 3-4 times in his 40s without DF....
Some editor even says "Prime" Roger would have solo DR Xebec to cope with it......like c'mon bruh (maybe he's talking abt Prime Roger from delusional universe that can 1v3 Yonko)

Loki got one of the DF that has been hyped up to able to overthrow Imu. And the full potential of "base" Loki itself is already a top tier/Xebec/Harald lvl bare minimum without fruit.
May the end of Elbaf cleanse the eyes and brain of 90% of one piece self proclaimed PhD powerscler nerds.
