I didn't really hate Zoro either, but the sword bois on average are so obnoxious that they ruined the character for me.
Even if they don't have the hax needed to kill him, experienced haki masters like that would break through his ACOC and would still have enough haki to weaken his regen.
Harald surviving wouldn't mean much if he was reduced to a paralyzed anchor.
