1- Blackbeard isnt the type to fight someone if he doesnt have to, he will try to recruit strong people. He did so with Ace but when Ace refused he squared up with him, so hes not afraid to fight when it furthers his ambitions. I have no doubts he would have fought Aokiji if he felt like there was no other choice.
2- Half of BBs crew was frozen, BB couldnt have been able to use half his powers because of that:

If he fought Aokiji and Aokiji knew it.

And just repeating myself but BB is an opportunistic fighter that doesnt fight fights he doesnt have to but will if push comes to shove.


Also powers wise he counters Aokiji with not only the guras vibrations but the Yami.

And finally we know nothing about what happened between Shanks and BB, we do know it was pre Gods blade Shanks so before he was 25.

Akainu didnt face Yonko bb and his crew, he came on a marine ship against pre Yonko bb and his half newly formed ragtag group.
