Questions & Mysteries Is Kaido's "Oni/Ogre" race another giant-human hybrid like Buccaneers?

One of the notable things about Kaido is that people didn't consider him human. Hence, the "World's Strongest Creature" title.

He seems to belong to some race of people called "Onis". They look like ancient giants, but are much smaller.

One of the most notable things about people with ancient giant blood is their horns, which Harald himself took off.

Could the horns indicate that Onis are a mixture of ancient giants and humans, like Buccaneers are a mixture of giants and humans?

Worth nothing that Kaido is just slightly taller than Kuma, meaning he fits the physical range of a "hybrid".

I was wondering about Moriah too. He seems the same size as Kuma (hybrid size), and his obsession with "reviving" ancient Giants, seems reminiscent of Kaido wanting VP's failed clone ancient Giants.

Plus him and Kaido seem to have history.

I'm gonna say it's a race on his own cuz ancient giants are even more giants than regular giants so it's weird that there's an hybrid human / ancient giant race where they are " so small " and just inherited the horns ? Colon is a hybrid yet he's as big as other giant kids Yamato also has horns meaning it's likely a stable feature of their race...i guess we'll have to wait and see but my bet is that they are their own race

My theory used to be
Giant + Human = Buccaneer
Ancient Giant + Human = Oni

I still believe Buccaneers and Oni originate from Giants but it's possible Colon exists in part to prove offspring of Giants and Humans can also turn out as either.

I've also theorised Gaban will reveal he has Buccaneer ancestry and speculates that's why Colon appears like a full-blooded Giant.

What he had to say about hybrid species does lead me to believe Power of Love is also tied into their origin, somehow.

yeah but having the horns seems like an even closer connection to the ancient giant bloodline so if they were ancient giants hybrids they should be much much bigger imho
