Speculations Did the SHs get haki offscreen?

#1
It seems very likely that this is the case. Evidence:

  • The tobi roppo are confirmed haki users and Nami/Franky/Robin defeated them
  • Chopper tanked attacks from Big Mom and Saturn, and damaged Queen as well
  • Jinbe said Nami used conqueror’s haki in a gag scene. She’s also damaged Luffy in gags.
  • Franky punched Luffy alongside Sanji and Bonney in Egghead. Luffy commented they were using haki
  • Franky destroyed vice admiral Red King’s arm in a 1v1 clash during egghead, Red King is a haki user
  • Brook now blocked an ACoC attack from Imu
Basic CoA/CoO isnt that special in the new world. It would make sense if Oda just offscreened most of the SHs awakening it.

They were defeated because they didn't use Haki...

Chopper tanked attacks from Big Mom and Saturn, and damaged Queen as well
Guard Point is mainly defensive since his fur is too thick... He didn't damage Queen...

Jinbe said Nami used conqueror’s haki in a gag scene. She’s also damaged Luffy in gags.
Gags...

Franky punched Luffy alongside Sanji and Bonney in Egghead. Luffy commented they were using haki
This is probably a case wherein Franky doesn't know that he's using Haki on that attack... But he is not aware still...

Franky destroyed vice admiral Red King’s arm in a 1v1 clash during egghead, Red King is a haki user
Because Red King didn't use Haki...

Brook now blocked an ACoC attack from Imu
It's not an ACoC attack...

I don’t think it would make very much sense if their awakenings weren’t emphasized like Usopp’s was

His CoO awakening is considered one of the high points of Dressrosa

Surely other Strawhats would receive the same treatment if they ever got haki
The only Haki awakening that matters now is a CoA one... If one of them awakens CoO, it won't be emphasized as much as Usopp's since it was just a showcase on how CoO can be awakened...

It's still ridiculous that all the sh's don't at least have haki unlocked. You had 3 characters good at using haki since the time skip yet they haven't tried to advance the crew in haki knowing how seriousitis to learn for survival. Then you added jinbe who has years of experience with haki and there's basically 0 improvements in thier haki. The time skip till current Day should be around half a year with all the sh's being involved in serious fights. They all should have at least 1 haki unlocked not mastered but at least know ing how to use the ability. It's just I don't think oda wants to have to keep writing the entire crew with haki because it's harder to make them under dogs.

None of this was from haki, just their general abilities
luffy says they have haki. franky just has haki.

he suplexes a random guy in wano and there are black sparks. he picks up caribou in fishman island. he probably has haki.
