Poland was for a long time one of the most pro-American nations in the world, now that seems to be plummeting.
Yesterday US ambassador caused quite a commotion. Not sure why he's getting into public Twitter feuds as an ambassador.

tbh, there are a lot of folks who are liberals or leftists that basically adhere to this slave morality where they resent groups that they identify to be “oppressors”. Typically white people, men, and sometimes Jews and other “successful” minorities.
The issue with this is it makes them incapable of empathizing with these people and completely disregarding any legitimate concerns they have.
With white people for example. A lot of left leaning people need to take a step back and understand that yes, the demographics of a nation is important. Demographics affects who has power in the nation and it is something of a zero sum game. Right wing white folks don’t oppose mass immigration because they are “stupid” or “evil”, they see it as a threat to their demographic sovereignty. Does this mean we need to become fascist and do ”remigration”? obviously not. But considering things from their perspective does tbh allow for one to engage with this issue in a more pragmatic way.
The issue with this is it makes them incapable of empathizing with these people and completely disregarding any legitimate concerns they have.

Yes, many red states certainly have draconian abortion laws. Girls and women in those states will suffer and I do hope eventually the people in those states decide to change their values.
But I think on some level, you need to realize that America is a diverse and multicultural Nation. Part of this means that there will be places in the country where you might not necessarily agree or like the culture. But that’s what it means to be a multicultural nation. Just like we cannot impose liberal values onto Afghanistan, I think there are limits to how much you can impose these values on places like Missouri. I think abortion is probably a fine thing for states to decide, especially since many women in these states are pro-life.
Similarly, right wingers need to accept that not everyone is going to be onboard with their radical immigration schemes and trying to impose this onto blue states will lead to chaos and bloodshed.

But I also support state sovereignty. I don’t like the direction our country is going where the federal government has become an oppressive and overbearing force.
If the federal government can impose liberal values on red states, it can likewise be used to impose conservative values on blue states. This is literally what has happened under Trump and it has resulted in mass chaos and state sanctioned murder on the streets of Minnesota.
This is the type of shit that will eventually lead to a civil war or autocracy. Better to just let the states have the freedom to make their own decisions. With abortion specifically, women have the right to vote. Women in these states vote for pro life policies. It sucks but the world isn’t perfect and the government cant solve everything.
