so your argument is "a lot of people thought X would happen but it didn't. so clearly Y is not gonna happen either" ?
There's no correlation between the two at all.
We have enough info. Shank is strong as fuck. Has insane haki feats. Loki hates shank specifically. Not shank + his entire crew.
And Loki wanted goofy to release him from the chains, so we know he was not in the chains of his own will.
Shank beat him up nd tied him up cause he was going up against the wg and shank knew it wasn't time yet.
Is that what I said? Don't put words in my mouth
You’re implying that I’m trying to say that he teamed up with his crew to take Loki down or something. You’re approaching this from a powerscaling perspective, I’m not commenting on that
at all
All I said was we’ve purposely been misled multiple times this arc and it wouldn’t be surprising if the same thing happened again. Is there a possibility that they fought? Sure
There’s also a possibility that they didn’t fight and Loki made a deal with Shanks. This arc is
filled with misdirections
It was assumed that Loki killed his father due to greed and that wasn’t the case, Brook assumes that Gunko (Shuri) killed her father with bad intentions and that clearly isn’t the case
It would be perfectly in line with the way he’s been writing the story so far. Not to mention Loki knows something about Shanks/his location
How do you explain that if there’s no current connection between them?
Gaban and Jarul went on about the crimes Loki committed just for nearly all of them to be completely false or they made more sense within context. I’m open to being wrong but don’t be surprised if Oda throws another curveball
It wouldn’t be his first time this arc
