To be honest its not good times to be marine fan

Its not like they are weake
But they didn't become main villains as younku
And now we are past era of younko and admirals
So younku they have taken their shine moment
Bigmom arc , kaudou arc.
But admirals not.
Except akainu who is not normal admiral
He is like garp of this generation. In terms of power.
Akainu vs luffy is must happen.

Yeah, it's so frustrating how Tashigi and Tsuru have been handled and treated by Oda. They could have been and done far more.
There is also Bogard, who was portrayed as a super badass swordsman in Koby and Helmeppo's cover story, only for him to do nothing afterwards.
And I wanted to see more of T-Bone, the kindest, most compassionate and selfless man in all of the Navy and a formidable swordsman, only for him to be killed offscreen in such a horrible way.
There is also Bogard, who was portrayed as a super badass swordsman in Koby and Helmeppo's cover story, only for him to do nothing afterwards.

Nah, he's perfect for who he is.
Btw, have Sengoku fans ever thought about just how much the bumness of Kong upscales the Sweating Buddha by proxy?! Because I guarantee you, if Kong was included in this statement:
-you'd get the majority of the powerscaling fandom believing that all the "fun" matchups in this case would be at best a mid-diff in Dodger's favour.
Like, Kong is a damn good counterargument to Leangoku downplay simply because you can point to him and say something like "Oh, THAT's what Oda has in store for an actual fraudulent top tier marine, muh goat Wengoku at least has some occasional hype, Oda never forgets about HIM, Warp's EQUAL!".
