Town studying together risk the chances of strengthing a scum even you're certain the person you study with is town doesnt mean that they are

Scum can just study together every day and boost each other's abilities on top of possibility of getting studied with, with town adding further boost

So while sitting around the camp fire kumbayaing and studying together sounds like the smart play it really isn't because scum can all just study together and town studying with scum unknowingly would just boost them even more

What we need is an investigation ability that allows us to see who studied with who on previous nights

Melkor is our first scum flip and the scum team would more than likely wanna boost and study with each other

So I think if we can figure out who Melkor studied with or who studied with him that could significantly lower the POE

would not say significantly, but I get your line of thinking
