Questions & Mysteries Missed opportunities for SH powerups?

What do you think are some missed opportunities for SHs to get a powerup? For me:

1. The rest of the SHs should have unlocked at least one type of Haki in Wano
2. After Monet died in PH, her fruit should have reincarnated into one of Nami’s tangerines, and Nami should have eaten the Yuki Yuki no Mi.
3. Nami should have also claimed Prometheus at the end of Wano.
4. Franky should have gotten a tech upgrade in Egghead
5. Chopper should have gained the Ice Oni Virus as a powerup. The idea being that he can inject himself with the virus for 30 minutes to boost his stats, but he’d have to inject himself with the antidote before the time limit passes.
6. Robin should have learned at least some Rokushiki during the timeskip
7. Usopp should have gotten some sort of powerup in Elbaf

• Ussop learning Haki bullets. More dial impact.
• Franky becoming Pluton himself.

• Chopper maybe CoA.

I agree with you more or less. Oda should have given both zoro and sanji their own version of G4 out of time skip and should have given both FS in wano arc.

Sounds about right, Robin not having CoO and CoA is stupid af, Sanji should've developed FS first as a CoO specialist, and also Nami having CoO makes sense and doesn't suddenly make her top tier.

I feel like Jinbe should have been rocking a gourd of water like Gaara, his potential has been greatly limited due to lack of a consistent water source. FM karate is cool but genuinely its not enough, he doesn’t feel as strong as he should be imo.

I agree to some of them. Some strawhats have never gotten a single power up while Luffy gotten multiple power ups is just humiliation at this point.

Usopp used that shit in Dressrosa and that was the end of it, everything from now on will be forced without the incremental power ups that should've happened for the SH.

Jinbe became useless instantly after joining SH. Oda just creates another character to do stuff that Jinbe could do. That's really it, biggest flaw Oda has is fetish for creating new characters.

Usopp can still get a powerup on Elbaf, mamely the Pawfruit, which will become available when Saint Sommers kills the last Bucaneer.

The set up for Ragnir was an amazing chance to give Usopp a tangible way to complete his dream early enough in the final saga to matter. Instead its given to a character whose mythical fruit kind of trivializes Ragnir, and already had a compelling enough introduction.

Could have had a pet giant Squirrel like his timeskip mentor had the Rhinoceros beetle. Could even fit in his gag fights where Usopp has to impress ragnir each fight to get the hammer to help him out.

Story doesn't have the room to set him up for elaborate gag fights, power scaling too high to allow him a real combat 1v1, and it's not like a "Brave Warrior of the Sea" *has* to be a strong one.
