The mother was not featured by silhouette in chapter 1137. You're conflating things. "Introducing Shamrock" is the chapter where we get info dumps about the history of the Giants, and if you want to say Shamrock himself is relevant then all you can point to besides his physical appearance is what he says: the seas belonged to them. Now we know specifically that "Elbaf is the D" and this ties into many earlier hints. As time goes on it will tie into many of the greatest mysteries. Shanks having an evil twin is not, itself, relevant to Roger and the history of the world.

It might be the opposite and shanks mom actually isn’t important in the grand scheme of things. Why hide her face unless it’s a setup for a shanks flashback and even then what would that even do?
