The more we are seeing new armies and commanders etc the more we understand how stupidly great the 4 HK were
Usually GG have like 1 or 2 guys (at best) at that level but 4 it’s insane
Even Riboku only has Banana and SSJ
Ousen only Akou
SBS likely only Kansaro
RSJ had Gyou Un and CGR
Ouki had Tou but beside him ….
Renpa + 4HK is almost impossible to beat in a direct clash

4HK have remained the pinnacle of subs for obvious reasons.
That said, with the way Hara has been telling the story since Shukai, it's highly unlikely enemy subs will get the panel time to show the kind and level of skills you associate with the 4HK.
Just look at the pace of this war, supposedly the final battle for Zhao and we're already on Day 3.
Hara's priorities in advancing the story really won't allow for wars to be waged by its chief commanders in detail, never mind the subs.
That said, with the way Hara has been telling the story since Shukai, it's highly unlikely enemy subs will get the panel time to show the kind and level of skills you associate with the 4HK.

Also Bananji & SSJ > 4HK individually, aside from Genpo due to the singular statement made regarding him.
Keisha - Bananji - SSJ - Futei is the best collective of sub-commanders any individual general has had at any point in time. Only ones who can peak above that are peak HSU, and dependent on how peak Ouki army operated with Kyou-Tou-unknown commanders in his army.

Seeing how the arc is playing out so far and where Hara is dedicating the chapters, can easily see the arc playing out between 70-100 chapters. Somewhere between Bayou - Coalition. Unless this is carrying over to the full end of Zhao, then another WZI on the way. For comparison, Sanyou arc (let alone the war itself) was only 55 chapters. We're already 22 chapters into the arc.
Character growth for Ouhon? Finally turning into a likeable character? We being humble? Graduating from dickhead with daddy issues? Betttt, i'll take it, even if just to manipulate Heki.
On a side note... Man 800+ chapters into the series, I still can't stand these two out of all the sub-commanders of Qin, idk if it's their faces or their attitudes or the combination of the two, but everytime they appear it's like"fuuuckk... " like Hara why would leave this bum Garo in the series but kill Gakurai... sigh:
Ong everytime i see this mf with a slanted horse, nightmares to that terrible scene pop up immediately.
