Yeah, but there was a flashback where he was amazed at Loki's powers, and how he was having visions about Harald getting past Elbaf and rampaging unchecked through the world, and he couldn't believe the power of the fruit?
Newsflash: Loki doesn't have an "immortal body" like Harald had. That's Imu's DF.

This is also just the bare minimum. Luffy relies on Zoro, that's nothing new. He also blocked some vines but I don't see how that's some MVP stuff in this chapter? Like okay, Zoro did something this chapter but that's just... okayish?

The real MVP was the dude whose ancestor fought the sun god and then caused a reaction by Imu himself.
its actually crazy that anyone would even think that aynone but loki is mvp in this arc
Loki soloed all of the MMA monster + also combo attacked the guy who, you know, attacked the fodder thorns, lmao

It's cheap writing, Oda doesn't want to let the SHP have legends of their own in the new world like Rayleigh did, or even Katakuri/Calamities who are all famous for their actions and get famous myths and stories about them.

He's just having all the SHP be famous as Goofy's friends and nothing more. The world barely even knows about Zoro and the others, confirmed by Sommers this chap.

Multiple generations of giant kings failed to claim the DF, which should preclude it from being a thing 800-900 years ago when Joyboy fought against the Twenty Monarchs.

I assumed Imu was Saint Nerona, who betrayed the other Monarchs and assumed Lili's body.

His familiarity with the DF seems to preclude that from being true, unless he was only aware of it in legend.

You are probably right but Loki's horns only match that figure on the mural.
The dragon in the center has backwards horns... :quest:
Yes I once thought the Dragon and the figure are one and the same but bear in mind Imu is likely a devil and thus will have horns.
