Yep, to each their own.
I kinda liked her determination and her stalling Kaido (knowing very well that she has no chance to win) was a good moment imo.

But I understand why people dislike her, the Oden himself was annoying af, no one needed an Oden wannabe.

Kaido’s son should have been a weak man whom Kaido despises for his weakness, similar to how Momo is compared to Oden. Kaido reproaches Momo for being too weak to be Oden’s son, purely out of resentment because it reminds him of his own situation with his son. Gin would have been perfect for this, a weak pirate from the East Blue wearing a jacket with the Dragon logo
