I still don’t get why Admiral bros are pretending like HKs are common knowledge when Admirals are clearly stronger regardless lol. Are they unironically just clinging to that so they can push Admirals > Shamrock (someone who might very well be stronger than even the Gorosei)?

Because Oda has been inconsistent with introducing new elements into the story, and the wider world perception of it. Something like Haki, just everyone in the world knew about going forward, even though this kind of makes zero sense story wise. Without an explicit confirmation, I just assumed that everyone but Goofy and his friends knew about the Gods Knights.

Though I don´t think it really matters tbh. I´ve never been so hung up on the statement, the WG and the world at large including people in the know treat the admirals like the strongest fighting force anyway. Only Harald is really an exception, and I´ve even sort of slightly downscaled his base version in retrospect

Admiral fans just want to misinterpret Robin’s statement to mean that a single Admiral is automatically stronger than any WG-affiliated fighter who’s not an Admiral, so that they could push Admirals > Shamrock, which wouldn’t work if the HKs and Shamrock by extension are a secret

Not sure why BB is a thing. Mihawk stated that every sword can be forged to be a bb, yet he only has one. For a guy like him, forging bb and sell them to people would be a great career and wealth.
