I mean, a big difference is that nobody really expects Africans countries to be "stable"

More are likely to expect someone who looks like Saddam Hussein to adhere to International Law more than the Average African leader

It's kind of this standard that nobody wants to talk about because it exposes everyone's racism
There’s a noble savage undertone whenever I heard “global leftist” talk about each conflict

Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
This is not the same type of conflict at all. I already explained that.

With Gaza, we are talking about a colonization and an appartheid. While the situation in Sudan is horrible, it's not the same thing because its ramification does not have the same impact on the entire world. The Sudan war is an ethnical conflict linked to imperialist interest, the situation in Palestine is imperialism used as a weapon of control over a region and direct colonization.

This is why you hear about it more, not because the crimes are less or more horrible, but because the impact of said conflict involves the interest of the entire region and create a precedent for the entire world. If nothing is done against Israel and the US, this situation will happen again and again

Sudan must not be used as a way to distract from what is happening in Gaza and overall Palestine and reverse. Again, if you need to talk about it, talk about it, don't push these conflict against one another. Because usually, people talking about gaza are also talking about Sudan.
What did you do for Palestine ?

People arguing that lefties aren’t « doing anything for Sudan » are mostly into wharboutism against lefties in general. Some even consider that lefties are the real antisemites.

It’s two different contexts
Meh

It's selective activism and media attention stuffs

Own your biasedness

When lefties defend anti semites just because they’re “brown” is hard to not see a significant difference

Said by someone who doesn't really care.

You have no idea how much people actually care and you are searching for a way to justify your lack of politicization. Sorry, I will not enable that.

If you want to get involve more, I can direct you to ressources to understand the situation of the world better, in the meantimes if the only thing you guyz can do is point out how leftist actually talk 10 times about gaza compared to the 5 when they talk about Sudan, I suggest you find another hobby.
A lot of pro Palestine people aren’t even aware that they’re a part of an Astroturfing campaign
If I could send you the photo I just saw this week. It would bitchslap you so hard that you would rethink two second about the stupidities you guyz have been vomiting on this thread. U lucky that it's even too much even for a spoiler section.

The fact that you have such a strong attachment to Palestine and reaction to this photo compared to black kids and mothers being raped and murdered in Sudan or Congo just enhances my point

it’s not what aboutsim, it’s a legit criticism about how hyper obsessed some of you are and who’s leading that

people not pretend like there’s not an antisemitism problem in Islam
There's also the issue that people mention historical "policies of tolerance" that ignores Modern developments

The Dogma of let us say a Righteous Caliph is irrelevant in the era where the sectarian teachings of Ibn Tamiyyah Qutb and Wahhab has been financed to wipe out the Diversity of Fiqh in the Muslim world

1. I don't have to justify anything to someone who is not even caring about the people suffering right beside him.

2. Your ignorance on geopolitics prevents you from understanding why I talk more about Palestine and prevents you from seeing that what I denouce in Palestine actually is the same thing happening in Sudan or Congo. But you need to be politically aware to know that at least concerning imperialism.

3. Before you point out how much people don't actually talk enough about something, you should try to actually TALK about said thing. Or do I need to remind you that I'm the one who brought up the situation of Sudan first in this thread by explaining the warning of Genocide LONG before everything starts ? Hm ?

Yeah. Now Shut your rehearsed reactionnary rethoric up please and politicize. You have no moral lesson to give to anyone.

1. I’m not asking you to justify anything, we’re just making observations
2. I am probably more aware of geopolitics than you lol. I mean I literally talk about it in this thread with guys like @Reborn @Midnight Delight and @Apollo. Unlike you tho I don’t go into pop politics so our conversations are less sensational

3. Sure you did, I am sure if we were to search “Sudan” in this thread the first post would be from you lol

“Reactionary rhetoric” is when pointing out obvious lack of attention worse conflicts gets and why lol. Brother those buzzwords don’t work here

Weren’t those “policies of tolerance” were essentially living as second class citizens? Lol

like yeah I guess they’re better than middle age europe so congrats?

isn't the main point of contention regarding palestine stuff that the US is basically financing the whole thing?

Where as the Sudan and Condo stuff is mostly regional/domestic and the US isn't actively funding it

i think people would definitely speak up more if US was funding any side in Sudan or congo instead of merely offering humanitarian aid

Like, look at the protest for the iran "not a war" conflict. US is an active participant. And so lefties protest against it

You’re comparing apples and oranges, then complaining about the different reactions to them from the lefties
