Except Luffy, it was great.
Luffy was supposed to much powerful based on manga.
Also Luffy was known with his terrible voice. That Laboon sequence was awful.
Luffy is not Manga Luffy at all

A small detail I find interesting is Vivi uses her peacock slashers way more in the live-action show than she did in the manga. I hope this show raises her profile and she becomes a playable character in One Piece games more often, she got left behind as the series moved on past Alabasta.

It a better world, Oda would've had Vivi using armament haki peacock slashers post-TS.

The problem is that fights will not be able to look like in anime as well. Some people hated Zoro vs. 100 assassins; it was made perfectly, to be honest, but some people wanted to see anime-quality fighting. Anime is about Zoro, who is faster than every assassin, can kill people with one sword, just playing with em etc etc.
So I kinda don't know how to adapt all Naruto fights into LA. One Piece is working because One Piece was never about fights, but about the story.
But Naruto is about fights in the first place, and story is not important there. It would be much easier adapt Hunter x Hunter for example or Rave Master, than Naruto
Actually, that's just some loser who don't appreciate the actors efforts.
You know, if it was made one one similar to anime, then real people will find it boring, it would not worked instead. Imagine new fans who is never watched anime and see the scene Zoro fight just ended instantly.
It's better this way, and the choreography of Zoro fight is top notch, I can't understand some fans who dissatisfied with this.
It's live action adaptation, if they want it to be similar just watch the anime. For me it's ok, as an alternate universe

It wasn’t great at all for sure

but we can only judge with a reasonable scale. Wanting a cinema like adaptation, marvel like etc is unrealistic

the standards for that kind of product cannot be high

and within these parameters the résult is honest work

nothing huge but nothing horrifying either

6/10

The Hiluluk episode was nice, Wapol characterization was good, Mister 3 wasn’t bad either. Smokey was okay.

about the main cast : Usopp was good, Nami and Zoro delivered

Sanji was a notch below and Luffy two notch below

I will definitely watch the S3 hoping they can still increase the quality

I agree, but something that will work in One Piece will not work in Naruto

I finally finished watching S2, and it wasn't as good as S1 for me. Aside from Zoro's bloodless Whiskey Peak carnage, as well as Robin and Smoker scenes, there wasn't that much to like. Chopper is meant to be cute, but he's so cringe to me. Sanji's Mr.Prince moment was botched. Let's hope that at least Alabasta will be fine.

Well now we've answered the question of what DB Evolution would have been if they tapped Toriyama. It looks like it's somewhere between porn parody and Danish cosplay. I don't think the Euro fantasy stuff from like 2003 (think Peter Pan) was necessarily bad because of the budget vs the spirit, but speaking of spirit I can't look at that Godoy face or those weird ass shoes without feeling mocked.

I think the last I saw they'd gotten their asses kicked by the Buggy pirates.

Yeah part of me is really happy to see it's successful and fans like it, but I'm personally horrified.
Godoy is ass

Honestly it Feels like they didn’t have much to work with…….I mean Logue Town? Reverse Mountain? Whiskey Peak? Little Garden? And Drum Island? Very Rough Stretch Honestly. We Manga Readers NEVER talk about those arcs……..Season 3 will likely end up being the Best Season of the Live Action. Pure Alabasta Content. If they do decide to go past Alabasta they should finish at Enies Lobby.
